Demo? Listen!

Scotty’s been dreaming of radio since age 7. He founded a lunch time radio station for his primary school at age 12 & began working with a number of Brisbane community radio stations at age 13. He was lucky enough to hang out at Austereo’s b105 throughout his senior high school year, before getting employed there as a panel operator the months leading to his graduation. He was soon announcing late nights and weekends on the high rating Brisbane Station. After gaining a world of experience he found himself at Brisbane’s 96Five at age 19, taking on the teenage aimed night show. Finding many successes in this unique position, he also enjoys hanging out with his high school listenership at a number of weekly and monthly promotional events, as well as spearheading the stations “Earth Hour” broadcast from The Wheel of Brisbane & is part of the team that produces the yearly “Elevation” CD.

MC

Since 2007 Scotty has taken on some spectacular MC and presenting roles, from hyping crowds up at rock concerts such as the 40,000 strong Easterfest, through to introducing school band ensembles at QCMF. Scotty takes on the vibe of each role, and is able to quickly and appropriately react to unexpected changes such as line up changes, or time filling.
